Blues Guitar Pbs
The name/preformer of an old blues song?
It goes 'oh my lord, oh my lord, what shall I do.' It's hard to make out anymore. I heard just a bit of it in the PBS film, Jazz. It was probably recorded around the 1920's. It's just a black man singing and presumably the one playing the guitar as well.
The name of this song is 'Hush Hush Somebody's Callin Mah Name'. It's been covered by many; most notably the Mighty Clouds Of Joy. Recently done by the Golden Gospel Singers on their 2007 album 'A Capella Praise'. It's an old African-American Spiritual/Gospel/Blues song- author unknown.
