Beginner Electric Guitar and Guitar Types?
I'm just starting to learn electric guitar, im teching myself with the help of a friend who plays, so im not competly on my own
anyway i need a guitar and always hear about which 'beginner' guitar to buy
but is it neccisary to have a Beginner Guitar? would it be a lot learn on a non-beginner guitar?
im keen on getting a different style of guitar, e.g. flying V or Z guitat, but none of theses are beginner guitars!

There are 2 reasons that people tell you to buy a "beginner" guitar. One reason is that they are cheaper. They are cheaper to make and therefore cheaper to buy.
The other reason is because if you spend $1000 on a guitar and decide after 1 year that you don't really like it, your out a grand instead of $200.
"Beginner" guitars are actually harder to play. The strings hurt your fingers more, they go out of tune faster, and generally don't sound as good.
Learning on a good guitar would be slightly easier, but like I said if you drop or break a really nice guitar your gonna be out alot of money. And for a beginner learing is going to take a lot of practice anyway so you might as well not spend too much.
If you buy a $300-$400 guitar you'll have a good instrament. I wouldn't buy the $99 special but don't drop 2 g's on a vintage flying V either.
