Guitar Funk Chord Progressions
How to solo over a G13, A13 Bb13 progression?
I play trumpet and those are the chords all transposed. The song is in my G (Concert F) Mixolydian. So the main scale for me would be G A Bb C D E F, right? And my G blues scale should be fine, right? It's a funk groove. I just need some ideas because I know how to build chords from guitar and solo on guitar, I just can't seem to do it on trumpet.
Thanks in advance.
G13--use G Ab A Bb B C# D Eb E F
A13 ---use A Bb B C C# D# E F F# G
Bb13--use Bb B C Db D E F F# G Ab
these are chord scales
