Why does my streak break in guitar hero 5 (Wii) when I'm hitting all the notes?
I'm playing guitar hero 5 WoR for Wii and I'm hitting all the notes on time, yet the guitar makes a squeak noise and it breaks my streak, why is that? Is it a double strum?
That squeak like noise you hear indicates that you either hit the wrong note or hit the note too late. If you're playing on Hard or Expert, you'll hear a lot of those squeak noise. Very unforgiving and quite frustrating!
Another sign that you hit the wrong note or hit it too late is when your fretboard(the part where the notes scroll down and that's where to play them) will shake when you have the multiplier going. Also your multiplier resets to zero and you have to start again.
Try not to hit the notes too early. Wait until the notes hits the bottom line. The line is the strike line. This is where you hit the note exactly.
Also be aware of hammer-ons and hammer-offs. Hammer-ons are notes that lights up. You press one note without strumming and then hit another notes with the light beside it in the same manner.
Hammer-offs are a little different. You press both buttons, but you pull off one finger at a time. It works like hammer-ons, but in reverse.
