How am I supposed to learn how to play the guitar?
I went on YouTube on this Peter Vogl person who teaches beginner and stuff.
I get a lot of it but then there's so much chords you have to learn.
Like a trillion !!
I saw online and there's so many..
And with Peter Vogl I only learn the ones she shows on his videos.
For his beginning guitar lessons, he has 12 videos.
He shows beginning scales, barre chords, Am, Em, G chord, etc..
But I saw on this site:

Click on the blue strip line that has these:
C C# Db D D# Eb E F F# Gb G G# Ab A A# Bb B
And it brings you to a bunch more on the side.
WTF?
I'm a total beginner!!
And I don't have the money for a personal trainer or a friend, I just don't =[
A song doesn't use every chord ever written. Learn the basic open and bar chord. Get your chord transitions down and start learning some songs with those. Once you have those down, then start advancing into different voicings and more advanced codes. You need to also branch out and learn from the many people on youtube. Marty on youcanlearnguitar channel is really good and JustinSandercoe has a zillion lessons for all levels. Also, rockongoodpeople have a lot to offer as well and work in many genres.
